The spirit behind Michigan Community Resource’s The Power of One Dedicated Woman is the difference one individual can make when they take action in pursuit of things they care about. Motor City Woman Presents: Women’s Podcast Brunch

Wanna get your podcast in front of a live audience? Here’s your chance! We’re honored to be part of the annual Detroit Podcast Festival. The Motor City Woman Presents: Women’s Podcast Brunch will be an interactive showcase featuring women-led podcasts hosted at Le Petit Dejeuner in Detroit on Sunday, June 30.

Between 4-6 podcasts will be selected for a 20-minute set each. Podcast must be led by a woman and focus on one of these core themes:

Mental health

Career

Finances

Personal development

Social / community good

Podcast must also record regularly and have been in operation for at least 6 months. Submission portal open May 1 – May 30.

Motor City Woman was proud to be selected to launch the Detroit chapter of Soundgirls.Org, a nonprofit organization created to inspire and empower the next generation of women in audio. Much gratitude to our Education and Launch Host Sponsor, Michigan State University – Detroit Center.

We conduct networking events, learning sessions and hands-on workshops that connect women in the audio engineering profession to aspiring hopefuls. These events are open to all genders and ages. To join the mailing list for the next event, email hello@motorcitywoman.com
